Welcome Emma: New Member of the Core Team!

We’re so happy to introduce the newest member of our core team, Emma! Her warmth, passion, and dedication have already made a great impact on us, and we can't wait for you to get to know her a little better. Sara, our comms assistant did a cool photoshoot and captured Emma’s endearing smile!

Emma is originally from France, and one thing that immediately stands out about her is her artistic flair in the kitchen. She’s not just a cook, her culinary creations are expressions of love and creativity. There’s something about her approach to cooking that speaks volumes about her character, her care and attention to detail in the kitchen mirror the way she carries herself in everything she does.

I remember our first ''deep'' conversation, it was as much about food as it was about life experiences. Emma has shared how she first discovered Breadwinners, funny enough she found us at a market stall in Camberwell Green where I was actually the Market Stall Manager! It's amazing how small the world can be and how life brings people together in such unexpected ways.

When applying for this job, I had to do a group interview where I facilitated and was going to see other possible candidates for the Breadwinners Programme manager role, and Emma was there, I thought she was going to get it, but how great is it we are workmates now and get to collaborate!

Emma is very transparent and has such a gentle soul, it makes working with her a joy. Her approach to her role as Risers Programme Manager in London, alongside Josie, is already shining through. Emma's journey is just beginning, and we are so excited to have her on board. Her dedication will undoubtedly be a key asset to our team. We're certain she’ll help us take the Risers Programme to new heights!
